We are so happy today because we are going to start to share our own ideas and thought about our beloved country mauritania by using english. We wellcome everyone who can express him self in english to join this 24h debate about our national issues like slavery, refugees, jobs, oil...etc.

it doesn't exist nowadays in mauritania
For me i prefer not to talk about slavery but about our national unity, because today the stake is very high and if we won't be able to understand that we may be the proxy of the both side of the current international war; in the other word the western world and the araboislamic world; and the only loser will be our weak people; i think that those who represent think tank in our society should play their rol today more urgently than any time before; and they should try and resolve all our domestic issues by peacefull means; war never resolve any issue in the past and won't resolve it today with the spread of all kind of weapons; i hope that everyone comment my ideas so we can reach together the solution.

In Mauritania there is one problem which trigger the slavery and prevent us from defeat it, this problem is the spread of poverty and ignorance among those who were slave and their sons and grand sons. Unless we make a good policy toward those people this problem will never desappear, and it may undermine our future, because they feel discriminated against and alienated, in the country where they represent more than 80percent in the low jobs and less than 5percent in the respectful job. above all that don't forget that they represent more than 40percent according to all national and international surveys.
Here i would like those who can help this miss-treated people and those who love our country to do something in order to bring justice because without real justive our country will never be able to predict its future.
