For me, the Mauritanian government should resolve this problem very quickly and pay back those who lost their wealth during this painful tragedy. They are Mauritanian and they were mistakenly targeted during the events of 1989, as a backlash of the dispute between Senegal and Mauritania.
I think every good citizen should participate in his own side in these ongoing general efforts which aim to bring this tragedy to a good end.
As long as this issue remains without a fair end, no one can predict any good future for our beloved country. In addition, such awful injustice may trigger many bad things for our country like the intervention of foreign countries which can lead a destabilization of the country and even civilian war like what is unfolding in many other countries.
We should bear in mind that today our weak and poor country; need every citizen, and the return of these refugees will have a very good effect on our crumbling economy.
