General Azize should bail out Air Mauritanie :

As a young country, we should learn from the other’s mistakes, especially in the economical field.

From now on, and like almost all the big economical power in the world, we should stand up against any action which could affect potentially our sovereignty and jeopardize our national independence and at the end lead to the breakdown and recession of our economy.

For that, I think, we all should back the current president the General Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize and help him in order to bail out our unique airline company "Air Mauritanie" and also bar the selling of our mining sector, which’s vital to our survival, and which’s was planned by the former corrupt president despite the disapproval of big economical experts and MPs.

The former president supporters are faltering locally and abroad:

Nowadays, it’s becoming common to see people who were yesterday against the coup, change side freely and become fervent supporters of the junta and its chief General Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize. The only explanation we can give to this new and growing trend is the good management people felt, of our national resources, from the General Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize, since August the 6th the day he took power and overthrew those bad guys and their leader Sidi Ould Cheikh Abdallahi and family.

MPs, Senators and simple militant of the parties who were against the coup are showing their support every day in the national and international Medias. Even though the Ambassadors of the western countries and the international institutions in Nouakchott and abroad, are working hard in order to reverse this trend and keep Sidi’s militant around him, but fortunately the Mauritanian people are wise enough to know that the only person who can make them realises theirs dreams of development is General Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize.

General Azize brings hope to the country:

Since August the 6th 2008 when he took the power, a new era of hope is kicked off across the country. The General dared to face the big challenges which have scared all the former Mauritanian presidents.

For example he undertook the necessary steps to solve the KEBBA problem as soon as possible, and allow the people of that area to enjoy and own a place where they can build homes and appropriate shelters for living.

In the other hand he sets a policy which will rid off the famine and starvation from the country and forever by organizing the fisheries industries and banning the export of some kind of fish, which helps reducing its costs in the local market, so the average citizen, can afford three meals a day. By putting the country interest first in every aspect of life, the General won the support of all the Mauritanian and deserve the title of the saviour in the eye of the Mauritanians.

Today from this site, we send a message to the EU and other big organizations for more understanding of our new situation and ask them to help the General Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize the saviour to make difference. And we tell them that with him as a president “YES WE CAN”.

Abdoulaye Wade backs the coup in Mauritania:

The Senegalese president Mr.Abdoulaye Wade has just expressed his support for the last month Mauritanian coup, and said that the former president made a big mistake when he sacked all the head of the army and security services in the same decree, which could have caused a big chaos in the country.
Mr. Abdoulaye Wade is a Professor of Law, and considered to be Africa best educated president today, has added that he trusts the junta and he believes they will keep their words and organize a new presidential election as soon as possible.
At the end Mr.Abdoulaye Wade has urged the international organization to help the Mauritanian government to overcome the crisis.

Friend in need is friend indeed:

These days while we are facing an international plot spearheaded by France which aims at weakening our country and starving our population, our dear friends show up ones again and bring their support.
For example, in the golf region the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirate donated yesterday a huge quantity of food and basic needs for the poor and needy people in Nouakchott and across the country. The day before Qatar welcomed two government official for further information about the situation.
On behalf of all the brave Mauritanian, i would like to thank these great countries for their invaluable support.

Ely Ould Mohamed Vall announces his candidacy for next presidential election:

The leader of the junta, who ousted our former president Mr. Maaouiya Ould Sid’Ahmed Taya in 2005, has just announced his candidacy for the next presidential election.
For some this move tend to fix the mess he created three years ago when he toppled the former president Maaouiya Ould Sid’Ahme Ould Taya, and for the other it will only add more trouble to the political arena because the junta who rules nowadays will make him win at any cost.

Ely is a former Colonel in the army, and head of the national security for twenty years before taking power in 2005 after masterminding a coup against his dear friend and mentor Maaouiya Ould Taya when he was abroad.

For many people a former army officer could be the best choice in order to pull off the country from the mess he is stumbling on. While the opponents of Ely see him as a culprit and involved in all the mismanagement and embezzlements which has occurred in the country throughout the last thirty years.

In a nutshell, I think that we all should look forward for a prosperous future and overcome the past by the forgiveness.

Good Ramadane in Mauritania :

In order to alleviate the fasting conditions during this blessed month, the government of Mr. Ould Mohamed Laghdave took a string of quick and very well planed measures, which aim at offering and reducing the price of food across the country.
For instance, many big tracks loaded with all kind of basic food sent to the “Mahadras” (Koranic School), Mosques and the poors villages across the country. And in the same time a special shops are financed in order to offer basic food cheaper than usual during all this blessed month.

The hawks stopped by the junta:

They are sometimes very known public figure, but most of the time unknown persons who are hiding and hovering over their prey “the country resources”. They are craving for power and for them the people interest is irrelevant.

Even though, they were flushed out by the junta, they carry on spreading their poison across the country and abroad, throughout unpopular meetings.

But thank God they were stopped before it’s too late. And from now on, any candidate for public service should be checked thoroughly.

Mother Nature disturbs the activities in Nouakchott:

All the Major Streets and highways in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania, is ones again full of water and mud slide the all mixed with sewage as a result of this morning's rain fall.

In the town you can see many cars broken-out and left on street; while the major companies were oblige to witness delays in their activities.

I hope that the new authority will fix this problem very soon and forever, by building the necessary infrastructure and more sewage disposal.

Why we don’t try the Socialism:

Today as a Mauritanian we became more and more harcelated from the entire international organisation, only because we dared to express our choices and back the August 6th 2008 change, which brought the High Council of State lead by his president General Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize to power.

Even though, today the socialism seems outdated in Africa, I think that this ideology could be the solution at the end, because, it can offers the way-out of the serious problems which we like all the developping world are facing and couldn't overcome.
For instance, the socialism guarantees a free education for children, health care insurance for all, and many other advantages which represents the so-called “the millenium goal for development” in the liberal world. And everyone knows that this so-called “the millenium goal for development” is unreachable by countries like our, Mauritania, so why we don’t try the socialism.

The first meeting of the new Government:

The new government which's headed by the Prime Minister Mr. Ould Mohamed Laghdave met yesterday for the first time. During his speech the president of the country The General Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize was very keen to explain to all the Ministers his commitment for serving people interests, and asked all the Ministers to join him in this fight which will be very tough. He also said that his first target will be tackling the corruption which’s hampering the country’s developpement.
At the end of his speech, The president of the country, Mr Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize urges all the government to work with him in order to achieve these goals and offer equal chance to all the population.

The Mauritanian coup was the best solution:

The former Mauritanian president Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikh Abdallahi has failed completely during the last 15 months to live up to any of his commitment before his election.
He undoubtedly lets down all the Mauritanians. For example take the example of Tintane project. During the aftermath of the 2007 Tintane flooding which’s caused a huge damage to that town and its inhabitants, our country "Mauritania" received a lot of supports and aides from all the riches and powerful countries. I even still remember that check of $ 20 Millions donated by the Kingdom OF The Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to our country’s then leader Mr Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikh Abdallahi. In front of the medias The former president pledged to build a new and safe town far from the flooding bed, and allow the people of Tintane, who have lost everything, to have a new and a happy life.
He appointed a manager and many employees for the job, and what look amazing for me and all the Mauritanians is the fact that one year later the people of Tintane still live under the same tents donated by international relief organization, and no sign of the government intervention is seen around.
The question is where did the $20 Millions donated by the Saudian go? And how can a president appoints and pays people without giving them any work? That shows a little example of how he really worked hard in order to squander all our resources. That’s why I say and I repeat again, the Mauritanian coup of August the 6th 2008 was the best solution.

Another way of colonising a poor country like Mauritania:

Today, it’s obvious the fact that the westerners like France and USA aren’t yet ready to deal equally with weak state like Mauritania. It’s not fair to try and impose any sanctions on Mauritania. The junta didn't do any wrong. They have just stood in the people side and overthrown a president who is involved in many cases of embezzlements.

The westerners know better than anyone else the fact that many African leaders use their status to get richer while their fellow citizens die in a dire poverty.

The Mauritanian people welcomed the August 6th 2008 coup, so why the westerners oppose it, and use all their weight in order to make it fail. I think that the westerners should be wiser and work for the interest of this poor and needy people and carry on giving them the necessary support unstead of punishing them for expressing theirs wills.

The hurricane season in the USA:

The American south coasts areas are ones again threatened by a hurricane. Unlike three years ago when the hurricane Katrina and Rita wreak a havoc on the same areas, this time the government looks one step ahead of the event, and took already all the necessary measures to reduce its impact. The population are warned one week before the big day, and asked to leave those unsecured areas. In their turn, the oil companies didn’t take any risky attitude and shut down all their activities in the area as a preventive measure.

“Gustave” is the name of the new hurricane which’s heading now toward the American south coast “after striking badly the Cuban coast”. In the USA, "Gustave" has made the republican postpone the date of their convention where Mr.John McCAIN is due to accept the party nomination as his candidate for the 2008 presidential.

People around the world are looking to this event carefully, because any disturbance caused by "Gustave" to the American oil companies will have a huge impact on their life.

Mauritania: why the former president was overthrown :

The August 6th 2008 coup in Mauritania prevented the country from falling into a disastrous civilian war, which could have jeopardised all our effort to build a strong and stable country. The former president Mr. Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikh Abdallahi unfortunately has worked hardly from his first day in office in order to undermine our national unity and our hope to build a strong and powerful country in the future. All his effort which have aimed on tackling our national issues have failed, and made them worse. That’s why our national unity was at stake at many times during the last 15 months, and at an unprecedented level. Also during that period, the toll of the crime has risen sharply and the insecurity became rampant across the country, while Mr president and all his family (wife, son and daughter) fly from one European country to another and spend nights and days in a luxury hotels.

Today, for all these mistakes cited above and others, all the Mauritanian people are behind the junta and his chief Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize supporting him and welcoming the coup.

The Mauritanian coup of August the 6th 2008 is very well welcomed:

Fifteen months of a government who looks unaccountable of all the mess and the mismanagement he is creating, made the population across the country looks very keen in order to show their support to the new authority. Every day across the country, people from different background, different region and tribe demonstrate by all the available means, their support to the new authority, and thank the junta chief and the coup’s author Mr. Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize and call him the liberator.
In the mean time more than 75% of the MP’s and the senate have expressed also in the national and international Medias their support to the coup and their author. I think that a coup who could gather such big support should be backed also by the international donors.

The 3:00 am call

During the democrat primaries, Ms Clinton made an Ad, which shows the fact that Mr Obama can’t be trusted when it comes to the real matter, which can happen during the night an specifically at 3:00 am.

The republicans who seemingly want to attract Ms. Clinton supporter, look as they have forgot that Ad or haven't understood it. Because an old man 72 years old or a woman with an ill child, represent the symbol of the weakness of the human being, and won’t be able to answer that call.

IN THE USA: Ms Sarah Palin will be McCain runmate :

The republican nominee for the 2008 presidency, Mr. John McCain has just picked Ms. Sarah Palin as a runmate. Ms. Palin is an unknown young women who is 44, mother of five, and who is serving today her second year as a ® governor of Alaska.

Ms. Palin who is considered to be reformer, her first role will be to give more energy and fresh blood to the republican campaign, but she is also known as a big opponent of abortion and fierce advocate of arm carrying, but in the other hand she supports the drilling for oil, so what would be her level of succes on her new task.

After this pick, I do suspect that, at least the republicans can no longer criticize the democratic candidate, Barack Obama for the lack of experience.

The China’s rise:

I agree with those who see the china’s lead in the 2008 Olympic game as a clear message of its dominance on the international stage. After the economic sector where the china’s success stories are astonishing, today the china is leading the USA in the total number of the gold medal, by more than 15 gold medals, I underline again fifteen gold medals in the 2008 Olympic game. China who was colonised by Japan during the Second World War, and who then was left by itself to struggle in order to feed more than a billion people in the sixties of the last century, is today considered to be the miracle of the twenty first century. The question which every one of us should have on mind is how did they make a such great jump and in a very short time? The answer is very easy and a lot of us know it already. Which’s they have worked very hard and never expected any help from anyone.

In fact, all that make me repeat again: the democracy doesn’t mean always development and well being for the people (the Africa is a good example), and it’s better to live without democracy and without aide and become one day a rich country than spend all your lifetime living on the handout.

In the end, I’d like to point out the fact that the China’s success is a good example for the people in the developing world, and for me I think it’s the only remaining option which can bring an end to the woes and the troubles they are facing.

A new government is expected and RFD will be out :

According to the Spokesman of the party, they have failed to reach any deal or agreement with the head of the state Mr Mohamed Abdel Aziz during the yesterday’s meeting.
For many persons, Mr. Ould Dadah wanted throughout this meeting, to pave for himself the road to the palace, that’s why the discussions were doomed to end like that.
Today the President is weakened further after the withdrawal of Ould Dadah’s party: the RFD from the coalition which had backed him from the day one.
But in the meantime, the relief has come from another big figure of the opposition, Mr Saleh Ould Hanene of HATEM party, who has just asserted his support to the president Mr Mohamed Ould Abdel Azize and his program.
The decision of the leader of HATEM (Mr Ould Hnana) is expected to create a new drift among the opposition rank and have further repercussions in the political field, which can in the end play in the side of Mr Ould Abdel Aziz, and allow him to start implementing the new and necessary reforms.

Our world and the climate change :

Our life on earth is facing a huge challenge, unless we reverse the current trend of the climate change, by taking the necessary steps.
According to many scientific surveys the spread of the CO2 emission on air is the main reason behind the climate warming and its disastrous effect.
That's why, i think that an international climate-policy should be adopted with the agreement of all the rich and the powerful countries, which can has as a goal :
1- Finance and support those big projects which aim to shut down cool plant.
2- Finance and support the use of electrical cars all over the world.
3- Encourage the use of clean power like the solar power and the wind power in the world.
4- Help the poor countries to get these technologies.

About 2008 American presidential election :

Two days ago Barack Obama the democratic candidate for the white house picked Joseph Biden to be his veep. Biden a foreign affair expert thanks to his 30 years and more on work in that field through the senate, seen as a right person to be Obama’s runmate, due to his experience in the international subject and also his outspoken character.
During the primary many American big commentators put the international affair and the lack of swift and harsh reactions to his opponent’s attack as the two main drawbacks of Obama.
As a matter of fact the national issues which appear to be Obama’s favourite subject could at itself make him win the race, but it’s always good to be more precautious, because the American race is very unexpected and all kind of smear attack are allowed.

Mauritanian coup of 06/08/2008

On august the 6th, 2008 a junta led by the General Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz took the power in Mauritania and chased the former democratically elected president Sidi Mohamed Ould Cheikh Abdallahi. Nearly three weeks after the event, the situations still unstable while the pros and the cons still rallying every day across the country, every side claim his legitimacy.
I think the Mauritanian people needs peace much more than any thing else, and we should settle down this crisis as soon as possible, even if it will requires a resort from the junta to a wide crackdown on all the hostile activities.
This current crisis hinders our development and weakens our country’s economy that’s why we should overcome it very soon and forever so we can go back to work. No one has a mandate from God which gives him the right to rule us. And the only acceptable leader is someone who is going to swear to work hard in order to put our country back in a good track, and once we found him we will back him whatever the reaction of the foreigner will be. This is our own problem and no foreigner should mingle with it

Arabic poetry contest,

As a Mauritanian, I pray my Lord God to make Mauritanian poets win over theirs contenders in the contest of the best Arabic poet of the year which’s organized nowadays days in UAE.

In the meantime, in order to support all our countrymen who are now participating in this contest, I urge all the Mauritanian to pick up theirs phones and vote for theirs brothers who are in dire need of theirs support today, more than any time before.

The last year‘s Mohamed Ould Taleb good performance in this contest, should motivate us more, and make us stand behind our current representing and push them ahead.

Everyone should remember that the success of our current representing is our, and it will bring to the country and us more advantages in the Arabic world and beyond.

In the end, I have another message for our poets which’s, besides the race they should prove our genuine roots to those (Arab and non Arab) who deny until now the fact that the Mauritanian people is an Arabic people, by winning overwhelmingly in this time all the steps of the race and taking all its trophies.

The radio of Mouwatana

The government has just stopped the broadcasting of Mouwatana Radio. Needless to say this radio was considered by many people as a tool of democracy, freedom and civil liberty. And by shutting it down the government sent a negative message to them.

But for me, we are a weak country and we should focus more on improving our (economical, and cultural..Etc) strength and not on things which would divide us and bring hatred among our different components.

This radio has played a good role by educating people, but in the meantime caused a lot of damage.

For example, every time you turn on this radio, you feel afraid that a civil war will break out the same day and that due to the hatred and true and false revelations people from different background are making on air.

In the end, I think that the peace is the best gift we can give any people and without it nothing is going to work. And every thing which is going to undermine it we should get rid of it as soon as possible.

Not too far from us many civilians wars were caused and waged by radios and in a countries which may look more and more stable than our.

Thanks again.

The come back

Hello friends,
Firstivel, l’d like to apologize for all that time I have disappeared from the seen, without bringing any new article before you, and I promise you that I’m going to resume my old habit ; to be more accurate, in this time I guarantee you, I’ll provide you at least with one article a day. The subjects as it used to be will cover national and international main events.

During all that time many of you have certainly witnessed all that change which have happened around and abroad.
In the national field i can take as an example our political life, for example: a new prime minister was appointed, a new ministers are now serving the country, and more important than all of that -a new vision of managing our country was established-, and that what is making me feel relieaved because this new way is similar to what was our former president Maaouiya, working night and day in order to achieve. In my point of view this new vision will bring blessing and peace to our country and in the end it is the only way which can bring development and happiness to our beloved country Mauritania.
And internationally Obama has become the democrat nominee for the 2008 presidential election in the State.
I hope all that will offer us a good subjects to ponder, talk and to write about, untill then i leave you in peace.
thank you again.

Obama of Mauritania

As everyone knows, we in Mauritania are mixed people like the US (white and black people). The rise of Obama in American primary gave us more hope that in the future, our nation can produce a smart and well educated black man who can make unanimity among both sides. But in order to achieve all that, the black people should focus more on education, good and friendly relationship with all races, and avoid judging people according to their skin colour and feel discriminated against evry time they lose a contest.

Ideas for success :

With a little courage and time planning, we can achieve whatever we want. For example, take this example: the half of the population in the developing world can’t secure three meals a day, while almost all of them have at least one mobile-phone in theirs pockets. Only by analysing this attitude, you will understand the major causes of all our woes.
That’s why, I think we in the developing countries should start using the most valuable thing we have which’s our brains.
I think we can reach out the train of the developed world which’s nowadays is going in a high speed, and enjoy a happy life like them, if we start identifying our goals and organizing our priorities and energies, in order to achieve them.
Being born in a poor family doesn’t mean that your fate is sealed in advance, but it means you will succeed but in a slower pace.
