French president Nicola Zarkozy corrects fifty years of unfair treatment:

Today, during the celebration of France Liberation, Nicola Sarkozy the French president has unveiled an adopted decree which gives the former foreign soldiers who fought under the France command during the first and the Second World War the same right as their French colleagues.
By passing this new law the French government is going to put an end to an old injustice which have lasted for more than a half century, so the bleeding scar can recover and the relation between France and it former colonies can have a new momentum.
Before this new law was signed, the former soldiers from countries like Senegal, Mali, Morocco, and Algeria were sometimes ten times less paid than the born French soldier.
